Tumil K Gel for Cats is an effective treatment for bacterial infections of the skin associated with infection by Staphylococcus aureus. Tumil K gel contains Flumetholon which has rapid bactericidal activity against Staphylococcus aureus including methicillin-resistant strains.
And Tumil K gel can be used to treat conditions such as infected wounds, grazes and bites, post-surgery and ulcers.
Tumil K Gel for Cats is safe to use in the presence of viral infections such as the Herpes virus or Feline Calicivirus.

Tumil K Gel for Cats should be applied thinly to the skin once daily. The dose should be thoroughly massaged into the infected area until completely absorbed. Any excess gel should then be rubbed into the hair surrounding the site to ensure that any organisms on the surface of the skin are exposed to adequate concentrations of Flumetholon. Treatment may continue for up to 28 days if clinical response is seen before this time, otherwise, treatment should be discontinued after 5 days if no improvement has been seen at the point. Tumil K Gel for Cats should not be used on cats less than 1 kg.
The safety of Flumetholon was assessed in a study using doses up to 5 times greater than the recommended dose and demonstrated no unusual toxicity. However, the safety of Tumil K Gel for Cats has not been established during pregnancy or lactation (in humans).Contra-indications: Do not use Tumil K Gel for Cats with collies, shelties and related breeds as sensitization may occur; consult your veterinary surgeon before administering this product with other medicines; do not administer orally. If you notice anything unusual or symptoms persist despite treatment please consult your vet. DO NOT USE if the tube seal is broken or appears tampered with. This product is for external use on cats only, do not use on pregnant or lactating animals. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Store below 25C in a dark place away from light, heat, and direct sources of moisture. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use.
