There are no breed or size restrictions for pets onboard American Airlines flights. However, all pets must be in an approved carrier and fit comfortably under the seat in front of you. Delta Airlines has the same restrictions as American Airlines when it comes to pets in cabins. However, pets are not allowed on flights to/from London Heathrow Airport. United Airlines allows small domesticated animals such as cats, dogs, and rabbits to fly in the cabin on domestic flights within the US. They must be placed in a carrier that meets USDA requirements and can fit under the seat in front of you. United Airlines does not allow any type of animal on international flights.
