3 The main ingredients in Oreos are flour, sugar, cocoa, high fructose corn syrup, leavening agents, and partially hydrogenated vegetable oil.

4 All of these substances are perfectly safe for your pup to eat.

5 There isn’t much nutritional value in an Oreo though. A single serving of two cookies only contains about 80 calories with 1 gram of protein and 11 grams of carbs.

6 This is not a lot for you, but it doesn’t contain very much nutrition for your dog either!

7 Of course the best thing to do would be to feed your dog real bones rather than processed snacks like Oreos.

8 However if your dog does eat some Oreos, it is extremely unlikely that it will experience any ill effects.

9 It might be best to limit the number of treats you feed your pup in one day though, especially since most dogs are overweight and would benefit from eating less food overall. 10 Oreos can be included as a snack in moderation for healthy humans or dogs, but should not make up the bulk of either’s diet.
